Where & when we meet

Berks Fly Tyers meets on the first and third Thursday
of each month ... but check our schedule for some
      exceptions.

Our meetings are usually held at the Berks County Agriculture
Building on County Welfare Road (across from Berks Heim) map.
Meetings convene at 7:00 PM and last approximately two hours.
They begin with a short (15 minute or less) business meeting
with the rest of the time devoted to fly tying.

You will need to check in the foyer of the Ag Building to
find the room we will be meeting in on the evening of the
meeting as we do not have a fixed meeting room.

A member or guest conducts the group in tying a particular
pattern or patterns. We have a TV camera focused on the
leader's vise and a large TV allows members to follow the
      steps closely.

The club has some tools for people who are learning to tye
although if you have tools you should bring them. Materials
for the patterns being tied at the meeting are furnished by
the club and we usually pass the hat to cover expenses of
      those materials.
